We are offering an exciting internship in synthetic biology and bioengineering. You’ll join our Biology Team and help develop new molecular biology protocols and assays and run highly automated workflows in our Foundry.
Responsibilities
Perform molecular biology techniques such as PCR, Gibson assembly, NGS and protein expression and assays using our high-throughput protocols
Record experimental parameters and results to enable scaleable, reproducible workflows
Keep track of samples, inventory, reagents to ensure optimal lab operation
Help develop new protocols and assays and automate them in our Foundry in collaboration with the Platform Team
Qualifications
BS, MS in Biology, Biotechnology, Life Science Engineering, Chemical Biology, Chemistry or similar
At least 2 years of hands-on lab work and experience with research and development in molecular biology
Comfortable with Python scripting and data analysis
You are very organized, hands-on, have attention to detail and a strong work ethic
